And that was shamelessly borrowed from a story written by one of my dearest friends, Talz. And indeed did music brighten up my day (or shall I say, night) and tipped his richness into my heart. I am so HAPPY! All because I heard Jon McLaughlin's "So Close".
I don't know why, but that song just has that effect on me. From the first soft tinkling of the chimes, joined by the piano to the moment where the strings float gently in. Jon McLaughlin has a really smooth and velvety voice that just makes you wanna MELT when he starts singing.
And the scene in "Enchanted" where he sang the song didn't help either! It was a BALL! Period ball with gowns and tail coats and cravats and WALTZES.
I can't help myself. I just had to grab dear Russell (one of my teddy bears) and twirl around the room with him as I sing along. Ohhh, my heart...
All right, I have returned to Earth. Another paper tomorrow D: Study study study!
